HELPS WITH
- Reducing appearance of dark spots
- Promoting even skin tone
- Visibly brightening without irritation
Our mission was to devise a serum that tackled existing dark spots, and kept new ones from forming. All without acids, which only scratch the surface and can disrupt the barrier. Instead, a clever blend of Algae – which takes control of hyperpigmentation at the source – and brightening Vitamin C came up trumps. Together they even out your complexion, and help to keep it that way; no matter your skin tone, type or level of sensitivity.
GLOW FORWARD WITH CONFIDENCE
A quick science lesson: you lose control of your pigmentation process as you age. Hello, age spots. But Algae is rich in phlorotannins. These kickstart the production of a protein that keeps melanin in check – fighting off dark spots at their root and helping to keep your skin even-toned long-term.
And it works. In a clinical study, our serum was proven to reduce the appearance of hyperpigmentation in nine weeks. While in consumer trials, 83% said it balanced the appearance of uneven pigmentation, and 87% said skin was visibly healthier with a radiant glow.
A hyperpigmentation solution for even the most hypervigilant skin.
INGREDIENTS
-
Marine Algae
Sourced from the Pink Granite Coast of Brittany, this brown Algae extract is rich in phlorotannins, which help the skin reactivate the proteins that control skin pigmentation. Meaning the fading of existing dark spots, and a more even skin tone. -
Stabilised Vitamin C
Our all-natural Vitamin C is sourced from corn and coconut. It’s oil-soluble and stabilised to ensure it’s slow-releasing, delivering radiant results right down to the last drop. -
Hyaluronic Acid
Hyaluronic Acid guarantees that hydration hit. This powerhouse works on multiple levels to maintain optimal skin hydration, and helps reduce Trans Epidermal Water Loss (TEWL). -
Vitamin E
This skin protectant has antioxidant and free radical-removing properties to help protect the skin against the visible signs of ageing, inflammation and sun damage.

FAQS
-
How does Fade Forward work on my dark spots? + —Unlike exfoliating acids – which can leave skin vulnerable to irritation – Marine Algae targets the root of discolouration deep in the skin, to fade the appearance of hyperpigmentation and protect against dark spots. Sourced from the Pink Granite Coast of Brittany, this brown Algae extract is rich in phlorotannins, which help the skin reactivate the proteins that control skin pigmentation.
-
Can Fade Forward help with my melasma? + —Sometimes Melasma can be brought on by hormonal changes like pregnancy. Usually, the pigmentation starts to fade away after the hormones settle down or after the birth. However, if melasma is caused by sun damage then Fade Forward can help to reduce its appearance.
-
Is it suitable for pregnancy and breastfeeding? + —Yes.
-
Can I use the Retinal Booster with Fade Forward? + —Yes, of course! We would recommend using Fade Forward in the morning and your Retinal Booster in the evening. However, there's no reason why you can't use them together in the evening if you prefer.
-
Can I use the Vitamin C Booster with Fade Forward? + —Yes, of course! They will complement each other.
-
Can I use C-2 Believe with Fade Forward? + —Yes, of course! They will complement each other.
-
Will Fade Forward get rid of my freckles? + —Freckles will not be affected by Fade Forward because they are genetic.
-
Will it make my skin sensitive to the sun? + —No, this product isn't photosensitive. However, we would always recommend wearing an SPF daily as this will protect your skin from the UV rays and further protect against hyperpigmentation.
-
How do I incorporate Fade Forward into my routine? + —The serum can be applied morning and/or evening, after cleansing and before your moisturiser.
-
Will it affect my tan when I go on holiday? + —It will not block your skin from tanning. If your skin is exposed to UV light, the melanocytes will produce melanin for protection. This process is managed by the protein that controls the melanocytes. That is its natural function - to control the production and release of melanin to protect your skin. Age and dark spots form when the levels of the protein diminish and control of melanin production is lost.
-
Will Fade Forward help with post-acne scarring? + —It will help protect against it, while also helping to brighten your skin. Post-acne scarring - also known as post-inflammatory hyperpigmentation - happens after a blemish has caused the skin to become inflamed. When the skin heals, it overproduces melanin, which leaves a dark spot behind. Your skin's melanocytes, which control this process, then take charge – and over time, the spot will fade. The Vitamin C in Fade Forward will help to brighten the skin gradually – and our formula's Marine Algae helps protect against further hyperpigmentation too.
-
What's the story behind the name? + —Two steps forward. Over-aggressive formulas that only tackle dark spots on the surface can leave skin vulnerable to irritation and further damage. Instead, our high-tech formula is packed with actives that fade and protect in equal measure – to even out skin tone and help you glow forward with confidence.
